The Burj Al Arab 

The World’s first Magnificent 7 Star Hotel:

Among its many accolades, Burj Al Arab was the
first project to take the step into the water; it
opened up The Gulf for inhabitation. This
legendary and symbolic hotel has attracted
international attention and awe, ensuring its
place as one of the most photographed
structures in the world, and consistently voted
the world’s most luxurious hotel.
Burj Al Arab, which means the Tower of the
Arabs is a luxury 7-star hotel located in Dubai,
United Arab Emirates. The hotel is located on
an artificial island which is constructed almost
80 meters offshore and is connected to the
mainland by a private curving bridge. The hotel
was built by Said Khalil. At 321 m (1,053 ft), it is
the fourth tallest hotel in the world.
Construction of Burj Al Arab began in 1994. The
project duration was five years, however, the
first three years of the project was used to
reclaim the island while the actual construction
took two years.
