One of the objectives of MMF is to promote good democratic governance in Nigeria and Africa. Effective leadership and governance drives change alongside the possibility of having an economy that is beneficial to both the nation and its citizens.

As a result of this, there is an increase in the demand for accountability in achieving set goals. Upstanding governance and effective yet ethical leadership are the two essential requirements for driving underdeveloped countries like Nigeria toward the edge of outstanding fulfillment.

Policy Dialogue and Presidential Debates

To strengthen the Nigerian political system through advocacy, public accountability, and good governance, MMF holds an annual lecture that focuses on strategies that can be deployed to ensure proper policy formulation, economic empowerment, equity, ethics, accountability, and estimable leadership.

The lecture is held annually and is usually graced with the presence of former Heads of State in Nigeria, past serving and former Presidents, Governors, Ministers, Members of Parliament, top Military leaders, humanitarian organizations, professionals in respective academic fields, community leaders, political stakeholders, and political heads from other countries.

The policy dialogue and presidential debate aim to bring together local and foreign stakeholders to devise ways in which the country can be moved forward.

With this program, citizens are provided with an avenue to engage in the process devised to ensure good governance.
